Track

Our current track was built in 1991-1992 in Walrond Park in Roanoke County at no cost to the county. The track is 1200 feet long with 725 feet of racing track and a 42 foot drop. The two structures that we have, one at the finish line and one at the start, were both built by Boy Scouts for Eagle Scout projects. 

Racing

For our Local race we run two divisions, stock and super stock with between 12 to 16 racers in each division. The age of our racers ranges from 7 to 17. Our Local champions go on to race in the All American Soap Box Derby held in Akron, OH in July each year. 

We also host rally races throughout the racing season. The rally races include three divisions at and run on both Saturday and Sunday with a double and single elimination race each day.
