Greater Pittsburgh Soap Box Derby (25-1778361) TAKE THE LEAD… “SUPPORT A RACER” Across the United States and right here in the Greater Pittsburgh area, family time is spent together building Soap Box Derby cars. Lifelong bonds are developed as the “derby experience” is shared. As a Derby sponsor, your leadership insures area boys and girls a program that will provide cherished memories for a lifetime. There are many different sponsorship levels available for the Greater Pittsburgh Soap Box Derby Race. You could choose to support us by sponsoring a driver/car, the race itself, place an ad in the program for this year, become a prize sponsor, or volunteer your time to help at the race. The race is held on June 17, 2018. It is open to the public and begins at 9am in front of the McKeesport High School. First place winners in the three racing classes will race in the All American Soap Box Derby which is held in Akron Ohio.
