Our Racers
Youth between the ages of 7 and 20* are eligible to race in the All-American Soap Box Derby® youth gravity racing program. Using specially designed kits to build their cars with the help of a parent or mentor, youth around the world compete in races for the title of Champion!

Ways to Qualify
For Championship Race
Win a Local Race
The first way to qualify is by entering a local race and winning, the child will qualify for the World Championship Race and compete against other Local Champs.
Earn Rally Points
The second way for a racer to advance to the World Championship Race is to earn enough points through the Rally Program and represent their region against other Rally Champs.

Get a Super Kid Involved!
Super Kids is a nationwide program to promote Soap Box Derby racing for children with disabilities. Super Kids races are often held in conjunction with local race events. Winners advance to the world championship held in conjunction with the FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby® World Championship Race.
