The PSBDA hosted our annual Super Kids Race on Friday, October 14th and our fall rally race on Saturday and Sunday. We had 11 Super Kids to participate this year. Our winner was Geoffrey Bailey. The Hopkins County Board of Realtors helped with the operation of the race. We appreciate all the volunteers coming out to Baldwin Drive for this special event. For more information on the race and photos, see their Facebook page or Coldwell Bankers. Our Pumpkin Roll Rally race brought approximately 40 race families to Madisonville, KY. The fall weather was perfect. Race Director, Bill Farrell, did an outstanding job planning and preparating for the race. He single-handedly put together trophies, rounded up pumpkins, haybails, mums, designed t-shirts and mowed the grounds around the track for the event. Bill photographed each racer with their car in front of "fall backdrop" and presented the racers with a copy on Sunday. Bill also organized a cookout after the Saturday races at the track and added a "haunted trail" for the kids to enjoy. Bill does an outstanding job as race director for the Pennyrile Soap Box Derby. Congratulations to those who earned a trophy this weekend and appreciate everyone that attended our race. For more information, I have included the web news link for the races from iSurf Kentucky.
