Race City Locations

Close to 100 cities are home to officially sanctioned Soap Box Derby® Local Race Organizations. The first step to getting involved in Soap Box Derby racing and the International Soap Box Derby is to find your closest “race city” (see below).  These races determine our Local Champions and are qualifiers for the annual World Championships in Akron, Ohio!

Find Your Race City

View the locations of Soap Box Derby racing around the world below.
To find out your official local race city, email raceprograms@soapboxderby.org with your racer’s age, division, and zip code.
If you do not see any race cities in your state, you can start one! Contact us to learn how.
