Bob Troyer has been telling the story of the Soap Box Derby as the organization’s public relations chairman since 1973. He raced in the Portage County, Ohio Derby in the late Fifties and in 1967, he became chaperon for the world champions. Bob Troyer has been a trustee of International Soap Box Derby, Inc., since its establishment in 1974. He has served as corporate secretary, president and was chairman in 1993 and 1994.
