Mark Scuderi

Mark Scuderi competed in the Soap Box Derby in Rochester, N.Y., from 1968 through 1970. He later helped start the race in Gold Coast, Fla., and, in 1995, re-established the Greater Rochester Soap Box Derby. He has been Rochester race director since 1995, and has been a regional director for the All-American organization since 2001. He has helped start 11 new races as a regional director. Mark Scuderi has directed the most local and rally races in the history of the youth racing program and was the first to run an indoor Soap Box Derby race.
