As instructor in the body and fender department at Hower Vocational High School, Akron, Ohio who was a volunteer with the All-American Soap Box Derby. He assisted in inspecting the cars that ran at Derby Downs and was co-author of the book “How to Build a Soap Box Derby Racer”, published in 1947.
